How do I know what size my dog needs?
The best avenue to determine collar size is to measure your dog’s current collar from end to end (including the buckle.)
Don’t currently have a collar? Use a cloth measuring tape to measure the circumference of your dog’s neck where the collar will be worn. Allow for 2 extra inches above the measured size.
- Small 11-14″
- Medium 14-18″
- Large 18-22″
- Extra Large 23-26″
What are these “D-rings” you speak of?
Dog Collar DNA:
Buckle (AKA side release buckle): Standard black plastic buckle; or upgrade to a Nickel plated metal buckle (available for medium, large and extra large only)
Nylon webbing: Durable 1″ nylon webbing – this is the super-tough base of your collar
Adjuster (AKA tri-glide slide): Allows for the size of the collar to be adjusted within sizing ranges.
D-ring: Cast metal D shaped ring – allows for attaching tags and leash
How do I clean my collar?
Care instructions: Hand wash or machine wash (gentle cycle) and lay flat or hang to dry. Avoid machine-drying…..it’s loud and your collar won’t last as long!

While I do use sturdy materials, I do not recommend using these collars as a restraining device. They should not be used with a dog on a tie out or for extremely hard pullers. Some dogs walk like perfect angels on leash….some dogs walk like bucking broncos (BEEN THERE!!) Please use a suitable training device for your dog’s specific needs. Regularly inspect your dog’s collar and discontinue use if the hardware or webbing show signs of wear and tear.
