About me:
Just a gal and her sewing machine! Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and a graduate of Longwood University. My love for making dog collars began as a hobby in 2016 when I started making collars for my dog, Champ. His new “wardrobe” grew so quickly (OOPS!) that I had to come up with some creative storage ideas. Soon, friends started requesting collars for their four-legged friends and my little business took flight! I take great joy in selecting patterns and color combinations that I love and hope others will enjoy.
About Champ:
Born in June of 2016 – He was a sickly little guy, with severe flea anemia. He was loved back to health by one of my very favorite Richmond Animal League foster parents – – – my sister!! I soon fell in love and the rest is history!
And now for the question on everyone’s mind…..WHAT KIND OF DOG IS HE??? The DNA test came back annnnnd….Champ is….a white dog with tan spots 😉 Ok for real, for real – Champ’s test came back with a box-of-chocolates assortment of breeds!
Champ’s Likes: Tennis Balls, Diamond Dog House (doggy daycare!), “biscuits” and…..HIS MOM, of course! Dislikes: baths, not getting attention, lawnmowers.
Now that you’ve gotten to know us a bit – we’d love to get to know you! Share a photo in your favorite Sassy Hound gear to be featured on our Instagram! Got a dog page? We want to follow you and keep up with your furry adventures!
